Hi, I'm Annabelle.
Petal Daze is a one-woman studio in Afton, Minnesota. I press every bouquet myself, on presses we built by hand, and I lay out every petal myself. I won't hand your flowers to anyone else.
That means I take a limited number of bouquets each season, and it means the frame you get back was made slowly, on purpose. I love the slow parts most: the paper changes, and the day the press opens and you finally see what it did.
Pressed flowers are honest. Colors soften. A rose goes deeper and moodier than it was. A daisy stays almost exactly itself. That's the point: it isn't a photo of your bouquet, it's the bouquet, still on the wall years later.

What I care about
Your flowers, not stock flowers. Some studios swap in fresh blooms when a petal doesn't press well. I don't. If a bloom doesn't make it, I tell you, and we design around it together.
Nothing artificial. No dyes, no resin, no color "enhancement." Just pressure, time, glass and wood.
Honest timelines. A bouquet spends 8 to 10 weeks in the press before I touch it again. I'd rather tell you 5 months and hand it over in 4.
